This article will describe a way to make a machine boot from USB even if the BIOS does not support booting from USB.
To be able to boot from USB on unsupported machines we will need a program called PLoP bootmanager. This is a bootmanager that can be burned on a CD or even a floppy disk. This will allow the machine to boot to the PLoP bootmanager and from there you can select the actual device you want to boot from.
